  Do you know the birth of cowboy boots? Not all of us knows where it came from and exactly when. That is the subject of this article - The birth of cowboy boots and a very brief history.

According to a lot of articles about cowboy boots, no one has been able to find out who the real or the mastermind was. But the life of cowboy boots started back in the restless time of civil war. The brave Cowboys needed a shoes that will give them more protection because there were too much dangers on the trail like barbed wires and snakes. An unknown innovative cowboy during that time is believed to be the inventor and the mind of cowboy boots. The cowboy went to a shoemaker in Kansas or Texas in 1870s with suggestions to improve and enhance their footwear. The shoemaker was asked by the innovative cowboy to make an unconventional kind of boots with a square or narrower toe so they could get their foot without any difficulty into their strups. The cowboy and the almost aspiring designer also wanted a heel bigger than the ordinary to keep their foot in the stirrup while they rode and to get more traction when walking or running on rocky terrains, that’s a great idea he had there, wasn’t it? The shoemaker did it as the cowboy instructed and they designed it to fit tightly at the bottom so it would not fall off but looser at the top so that when a cowboy was in trouble, he could wiggle out of the boots with lesser effort, and they both lived happily ever after.
  So that was the birth and the start of the cowboy boots and it’s been remodeled from generations to generations for all kinds of uses, not just for combat but also for the sake of fashion.
